Buchecha and Reug Reug rebooked for April 22 at ONE: Reloaded
Originally set for April of 2021, Buchecha and Reug Reug are set to face off again at the ONE Championship on April 22nd. The bout sets two unique fighters against each other and will be one of the ones to watch on the upcoming ONE Championship – ONE: Reloaded card.
After Buchecha pulled out last year, Reug Reug went on to fight on the same card after a couple opponent changes. Ultimately, he fought Patrick Schmid and won that fight with a first-round finish. After that, Reug Reug lost a controversial bout with Kirill Grishenko where Reug Reug quit on the stool after feeling he was punched after the bell and said he couldn’t continue. Reug Reug is a former Senegalese Wrestler and has had much fanfare coming over to MMA.
Buchecha, on the other hand, is a Jiu Jitsu wizard. He’s a two time ADCC champion and a thirteen time World Champion in heavyweight and the Absolute division. He’s started his career in MMA perfect at 2-0. Buchecha hasn’t fought bums either. Both Anderson “Braddock” Silva and Ji Won Kant are great strikers, somewhere Buchecha is weak. He won both of those fights via submission in the first round.
Adding Buchecha vs. Reug Reug to ONE Championship: Reloaded
In addition to Buchecha vs. Reug Reug, ONE Championship: Reloaded has two great title fights slated for the April 22nd card. For the ONE Championship Welterweight title, Regina Eersel and Arian Sadikovic are set to fight in the main event. The co-main will be for the vacant women’s flyweight title featuring Smilla Sundell and Jackie Buntan are set to fight and put on a fantastic show.
Adding Buchecha and Reug Reug to the card shows that ONE is loading up on this card and is ready to deliver another fantastic night of fights
