Cage Warriors 112 Adds 14 Names To Manchester Card

Cage Warriors 112 confirms 14 new names for the card in a press release today. The card takes place March 7th in Manchester, England. The card is the first of the new year and will be headlined by a title defense from bantamweight champion, Jack Cartwright.

Cartwright will be defending his title since winning it on Cage Warriors Unplugged 2 against a to-be-names opponent. He won the belt after two fights in the same night with two first round finishes in a Grand Prix tournament. Now 7-0, Cartwright will look to bolster his resume at Cage Warriors 112.

Also on the card is 11-1 welterweight Adam Proctor. He has wins over Angelo Rubino and Olli Shantalhti inside the promotion since last year.

Other local names from Manchester include Martin Stapleton, Adam Ventre, and Mick Stanton. Stanton is a win away from a middleweight title shot after going 3-0 in 2019.

Cage Warriors 112 also has James Webb, the former Cage Warriors middleweight champion, Liam Gittins, a surging prospect, and Scotland’s Scott Malone. Malone is looking to return after being knocked out by now-UFC prospect, Jack Shore.

The card will mark the promotions first event in 2020 and will be the start of the foot race for Cage Warriors boosting their talent to the UFC. With over 90 fighters having made the leap to the promotion, Cage Warriors has had names such as Conor McGregor and Michael Bisping come through their ranks to make the jump to the big show.

All names will obviously get opponents for the card and will be coming within the next couple weeks.
