Cage Warriors Champion Dominique Wooding Calls Out Kevin Natividad for UFC London
UFC London …. where you at?
Cage Warriors bantamweight champion Dominique “Black Panther” Wooding (9-4) has set his sights on Kevin “Quicksand” Natividad (9-3) as a potential UFC debut opponent.
Wooding scored a spectacular 38-second knockout over Carlos Abreu (then 9-3) in his first title defense at Cage Warriors 132 earlier this month, his third KO in the space of just 6 months. The 25-year-old GB Top Team fighter boasts a 100% KO rate in the fights he has won, and sent a message to Dana White and the UFC matchmakers in his post-fight interview with Dan Hardy to “get that UFC contract ready” for UFC London on March 19th.

While Wooding has not yet signed with the UFC, he is hopeful of putting pen to paper following an incredible string of finishes in 2021 en route to capturing and defending Cage Warriors gold.
“My management are waiting on an email back from Sean Shelby. We’re just waiting to hear back from Sean Shelby, but fingers crossed!” Wooding explained to MyMMANews.com
Wooding initially targeted a debut fight against South African fighter JP Buys, calling him out on Twitter
I’ll gladly fight @wrestling_Jp on the @UFC London card March 19th.

However, according to Wooding, the pair exchanged some messages and the UFC London card doesn’t seem to be an option for Buys:
“I called him out. He messaged me. I’ll leave him alone now, but he did say he’s got visa issues to come into the UK, so obviously now that’s not going to be possible.” Wooding elaborated to MyMMANews.com
With a Buys matchup off the table, “The Black Panther” is on the hunt for another opponent to break into the UFC, and his crosshairs are now focused on Kevin Natividad:
“There’s one guy that I’d like to have for my debut, there’s one other guy that I like. His name is Kevin Natividad!”
“If I can make my debut on the London card against him, that would be great!”
For now, Wooding and his management at Paradigm Sports will be eagerly waiting by the phone for the UFC brass to call. Stay tuned to MyMMANews.com for further developments on this story.
