Carroll’s Corner MMA Podcast: Steve Inoshima and Eric Dehm
On this episode of Carroll’s Corner MMA Podcast, Eric Dehm of 1010 WINS joined the show as a co-host. Our guest was Steve Inoshima, an amateur bantamweight fighter battling on Friday, December 16, fight card, World’s Collide. World’s Collide takes place Friday, at The Space at Westbury, in Westbury, on Long Island.
As we waited for Inoshima to call in, Eric Dehm informed us how he first started commenting Long Island local MMA. After being contacted by KTFO president, Nic Canobbio, Dehm commentated the KTFO fights with middleweight, Eric Ott the first time, UFC fighter Aljamain Sterling the second time, and amateur lightweight Ryan Castro, the third time.
We discussed Long Island’s talent pool that has been funneling into the UFC. We talked about Long Island’s fights coming up this Friday, World’s Collide.
Inoshima called in at about the 15:00-minute mark. The World’s Collide fighter is an interesting cat. He discussed how he was introduced to MMA, why he fights, training children, and much more.
Inoshima shed some light about how training has gone for him as well as what it’s like the day of the bout.
“I created a fighter on my Xbox and I retired undefeated,” Said Eric Dehm.
“I also work at Starbucks. You get a taste of Tiger Schulman’s or Starbucks, you’ll know what’s real,” Said Steve Inoshima.
