CC MMA Podcast: Vinny Balsamello; Jack Hammer English Invasion 3 Co-Main Event Challenger

On Tuesday Night, Carroll’s Corner MMA Podcast was joined by Georgia resident, Long Island native, Vinny Balsamello. Balsamello will be challenging Malik Smith for the Super-Heavyweight Jack Hammer Promotions title. Smith is the current champion, defending his belt once already. Jack Hammer’s English Invasion 3 takes place at Mulcahy’s Pub in Wantagh, New York on April 15, 2018.

Balsamello, 43, is twenty years the elder in his bout against Smith. Balsamello has only been training for seven years and will be participating in only his third kickboxing match of his career. Unlike many of the younger fighters, Balsamello has a full-time career supporting himself and participates in these amateur kickboxing fights for the love of the sport.

In the interview with Carroll’s Corner MMA Podcast, Vinny Balsamello discusses his love for the sport, how he entered training for the sport, and what’s in store for his future.

Kyle Carroll is a Long Island, N.Y. native and avid MMA and amateur wrestling fan. He has been a part of the wrestling community for nearly 20 years.
