CES 63 Live Results (John “Doomsday” Howard returns to action)

CES 63 goes down on Friday, August 6th, and emanates from MassMutual Center in Springfield, Massachusetts. The pugilistic proceedings kick off at 8:00 PM EST and will broadcast on UFC Fight Pass.

Ozzie Alvarez and John Howard test skills in a middleweight matchup for this CES MMA headline attraction.

John Howard is no stranger to CES main event fights having last topped their marquee in October 2017. Doomsday bested Roger Carroll via unanimous decision at CES 46 in that outing.

After a setback in his last contest, the UFC and PFL vet aims to resume his winning ways as he clashes with Alvarez tonight.

Conversely, Ozzie Alvarez is also looking to get back into the win column and will be competing for the first time in just shy of two and a half years.

The Combate Global and BAMMA vet makes his promotional debut here. He looks to do his Kings MMA combative compatriots proud and garner the biggest name-value victory of his MMA career so far.

In the evening’s co-feature, Carlos Candelario and Miguel Restrepo collide in a bantamweight bout.

Carlos Candelario has contested the vast majority of his MMA bouts under the CES banner and returns to the promotion here. This resuming of CES competition comes on the heels of a victorious foray on Dana White’s Contender Series.

Candelario gets back to mixed martial arts action after that DWCS bout that transpired in August 2017.

Miguel Restrepo is a CES and CFFC veteran making his own comeback from a pronounced period of being dormant. It has been over three years since he competed so both warriors will have a lot of questions to answer in this co-main event.

The remainder of the fights and the real-time CES 63 bout outcomes can be found below.
