CES MMA makes another Massachusetts invasion on April 15 with CES 43
Top featherweight contenders Pedro “The Beast” Gonzalez and Bruno “Jacare” Dias will headline CES 43 at the famed North Shore Music Theatre in Beverly, Mass., on April 15.
Riding high with four straight finishes, Gonzalez had the crowd on its feet when he headlined CES MMA’s Massachusetts debut in Beverly in 2016. A member of the Redline Fight Team, the Gloucester, Mass., native lives 10 minutes from the NSMT and can’t wait to perform again in his own backyard.
“The atmosphere was crazy the last time we fought at North Shore Music Theatre, and this won’t be any different,” said Gonzalez, who brings an 11-5 record into battle. “Last time I got the finish in the main event, and I’m going to do everything I can to make it five straight stoppages on April 15.”
After more than two-dozen fights in his native Brazil and back-to-back battles in Russia, Dias makes his United States debut at CES 43. The Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt, fighting out of Team Juniko, has been waiting his whole career for this moment.
“I left my family, friends and students to chase a dream. This will be the first step to become CES champ and get that belt,” said Dias, a BJJ world champion with 19 finishes on his professional MMA record. “Fans can expect a war. I will dominate in a minute or be in a war for three rounds. But I will fight to give a show and win. I wanna show that I will be the future CES champ.”
The card will also feature Massachusetts standouts Lewis Corapi, Rico DiSciullo and Mike Rodriguez.
