Middleweight prospect Chad Hanekom signs for Brave Combat Federation

Brave Combat Federation has announced another big signing as South African prospect Chad Hanekom is now a part of the promotion’s growing Middleweight roster. “Superman” is expected to make his promotional debut at Brave 10: The Kingdom Rises, set for Jordan, on March 2.

With a perfect professional record of four wins in as many fights, the 26-year-old joins the ranks at Brave Combat Federation hoping to use his impeccable conditioning and fitness to cement himself as a top contender once the promotion puts a Middleweight belt on the line.

Hanekom has finished his four previous opponents, with three submissions and a technical knockout to his name. Fighting out of Sunninghill, in Johannesburg, the South African trains under Richard Quan at the Fight Fit Militia and hopes to follow in the footsteps of fellow South African Jeremy Smith, who put on a Fight of The Night performance at Brave 3: Battle in Brazil, in March of last year against Marcos “Pirata”.

Brave 10: The Kingdom Rises marks the promotion’s first show in Jordan, home to some of Brave’s most decorated fighters, and the sixth country to host a Brave Combat Federation event, after Bahrain, Brazil, the United Arab Emirates, India, Kazakhstan, and Mexico.
