Champion Bubba Jenkins eyes second belt after Brave 22

Brave Combat Federation Featherweight champion Bubba Jenkins has made waves since joining the company, by beating former titleholder Elias Boudegzdame and claiming his first MMA world title. Now, the 2011 NCAA Division I wrestling champion wants to add a new belt to his collection as he eyes Bantamweight gold.

Jenkins revealed that he would like to drop down to 135lbs in case Boudegzdame beats reigning champion Stephen Loman, as he thinks he has an edge on his last victim. Elias will take on Stephen in the main event of Brave 22, set for Manila, Philippines, on March 15.

Through Brave Combat Federation’s official Instagram account, “Bad Man” commented under a photo of Boudegzdame, with his wishes for a drop in weight, and raised eyebrows, with fans generally supporting the eventual change for the Featherweight champion.

Aside from Boudegzdame, Bubba Jenkins has brewed a rivalry with fellow Featherweight Jeremy Kennedy, who called him out recently, after his main event win against Marat Magomedov at Brave 21. The two have gone back and forth on social media, but no agreement has been reached for them to fight as of right now.
