Christian Lee down for hybrid rules fight if opportunity presents itself

According to a report from Sportskeeda and the South China Morning Post, 23-year-old ONE Championship superstar Christian Lee is down to compete in a hybrid-rules contest if offered the right fight.

The Singaporean-American fighter known as “The Warrior” is referring to taking a fight such as the one that former UFC flyweight champion Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson and Muay Thai phenom Rodtang Jitmuangnon will partake in, at ONE X on March 26.  The upcoming bout will feature alternating rounds of professional mixed martial arts and Muay Thai.

“I’d take that fight in a heartbeat,” Lee said. “There’s a reason why there’s two different sports in terms of striking and MMA. I think you take any of the top kick-boxers or Muay Thai fighters, three four divisions up, and you put them against any top-level MMA fighter, any MMA champion, the MMA fighter is going to win, for sure.”

Christian Lee, who was riding a six-fight win-streak prior to his most recent outing against Rae Yoon Ok, has spent his entire career fighting for ONE Championship. Beginning with his debut in February 2015, Lee has now fought 19 times from the Singapore based promotion.  His record now stands at 15-4.

If a hybrid rules fight is presented to Lee, who would you like to see him compete against?
