Cody Law expecting a big bounce back performance at Bellator 289

Cody Law believes the world will see the best version of himself when he makes the walk to the Bellator cage at Bellator 289.

In his last outing, Law suffered the first loss of his career when James Gonzalez was able to edge out Law on the scorecards for a unanimous decision win.

Since the loss, Law has been spent some time looking at what went wrong and he wishes he could have the fight back.

While he can’t physically go back in time to that fight, he still will get the opportunity to somewhat right the ship on that performance.

At Bellator 289, Law will face Cris Lencioni in a featherweight matchup in which Law believes Lencioni fights very similar to Gonzalez.

With a similar opponent across the cage, Law has been working hard at American Top Team to correct what went wrong and now he is planning to pick up a huge win and end 2022 on high note with plenty of momentum going into the new year.

Prior to the fight, Law spoke with MyMMANews and discussed what it’s been like coming off his first loss, he plans to get back into the win column, and his disappointment with Halloween Ends, the final movie of the Halloween franchise, which is his favorite movie series.

You can watch his full interview in the video above.
