Cody Law previews his Bellator 271 fight against Colton Hamm

Cody Law has been impressive so far in his young professional career.

Since debuting with Bellator last year, the former NCAA Division II wrestling national champion has won all four of professional fights. After passing every test so far, Law is now onto his next one.

After his first round TKO win over Theodore Macuka at Bellator 262, Law asked for a step up in competition as all of his opponents have had similar records to his. Law’s wish has now been granted.

On Nov. 12 at Bellator 271, Law will take on Colton Hamm in his fifth professional fight. Unlike his previous opponents, Hamm comes into the fight with more experience than Law as Hamm (4-3) has seven pro fights under his belt to go a long with a number of amateur fights.

Law is aware that his skill set is much higher than most fighters with four pro fights and he credits that to his training with Mike Brown at American Top Team. He also knows that because of his great skill set, he’s going to have a hard time getting opponents with more fights than him.

Nonetheless, Law is excited to be able to compete again and prior to his fight at Bellator 271, Law spoke with MyMMANews to discuss his fight with Hamm, his position as young talented fighter and his excitement to being fighting in south Florida with his family, friends and teammates in attendance.

You can watch his full interview in the video above.
