Cody Law previews his upcoming fight against Johnny Soto at Bellator 276
Cody Law has been very honest with what his goal is in the short term and that’s to keep getting better every day and improve leaps and bounds within fights.
So far Law has done just that as he’s not only started his career out with a perfect 5-0 record, but he’s gotten better and better each time he has stepped foot inside the cage.
In Law’s last two fights, he’s made quick work of his opponents as he secured first-round knockouts in both outings and didn’t even have use his wrestling skills that he’s developed from being a Pennsylvania state champion in high school, to a brief stop at Penn State and to Pitt-Johnstown where he won a Division II national title.
Now Law has once again been grinding away at American Top Team and he’s ready to put on another great performance when he takes on Johnny Soto at Bellator 276 on March 12.
Prior to the fight, Law spoke with MyMMANews about his upcoming matchup with Soto, his training camp at American Top Team and he gives a preview of this weekend’s UFC 272 main event as his teammate and friend Jorge Masvidal takes on Colby Covington. He also discussed his time at Pitt-Johnstown after his college wrestling coach Pat Pecora earned his 20th NWCA Regional Wrestling Coach of the Year Award.
