Cody Law set to make his professional debut at Bellator 250
Cody Law signed with Bellator one month ago. Now he’s only a few weeks away from making his professional debut.
Law will fight Orlando Ortega at Bellator 250 on Oct. 29. Ahead of his first matchup, Law spoke with MyMMANews to discuss his first professional bout.
Law was a very accomplished wrestler. He won a state championship in Pennsylvania in his senior year of high school. Following his high school career, Law took his talents to Penn State to wrestle at the top program in the nation. Law would eventually transfer out of Penn State and go to Division II Pitt-Johnstown, where he claimed a national championship in his last season.
Now his wrestling days are done and the American Top Team fighter is excited to begin his MMA journey. You can see Law talk about his professional debut in the video above.
The Bellator 250 card will be headlined by a vacant middleweight title fight between former middleweight champion Gegard Mousasi and current welterweight king Douglas Lima. As of right now, the only other confirmed right on the card is a welterweight bout between Sabah Homasi and Bobby Voelker. The fights will take place from the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT.
