Colby Covington wants to “set an example” on Leon Edwards, says Donald Trump attending UFC 296

Interview with Colby Covington below

Colby Covington (17-3) discusses his welterweight title fight against Leon Edwards (21-3) at UFC 296 on Dec. 16. Colby also explained why this fight took so long to book, interest in fighting Islam Makhachev and how he sees the fight playing out.

“My prediction is just complete domination. (Within the first second) to however long it goes”. He’s not going to have a glimmer of hope in this fight. I want to go out there and really set an example, that he won’t want to fight me in a rematch. He’s going to probably want to retire or fight someone he has a chance against. He’s going to find out December 16th live on PPV.”
