Combate Global and Univision Communications Inc. today announced the complete lineup for their next Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) event on Friday, May 14, live on Univision (12 a.m. ET/PT) and TUDN USA (12 a.m. ET/9 p.m. PT) in the U.S. and on TUDN MX (11 p.m. local time) in Mexico from Univision’s studios in Miami, Fla.

The show will also re-air in Mexico on Televisa Nueve the following day, Saturday, May 15 at 5 p.m. local time.

In a featured (135 pounds) matchup, former world champion Jose “Pochito” Alday (13-5-1) will battle prolific finisher Ramon “Bombardero” Cardozo (8-4).

The 29-year-old Alday of Tucson, Ariz. via Hermosillo, Son., Mexico is a scrappy, battle-tested competitor whose relentless determination led him to become the first Combate world bantamweight champion in history on September 14, 2018 when he earned a majority decision over Gustavo Lopez.

Alday also boasts victories over John “Sexi Mexi” Castaneda and recent Combate Global fight winner Gianni “Kryptonita” Vazquez.

Cardozo is a 26-year-old rising star who hails from Campeche, Mexico.  He is riding a three-fight winning streak, that includes an impressive, 37-second submission (arm triangle choke) of Carlos Mascorro on September 18, 2020.

In a featured, 153-pound catchweight affair, Jordan “Bull” Beltran (10-6) of Puebla, Mexico will face off with Jose “The Mercenary” Zarauz (21-7-1) of Lima, Peru

A featured women’s catchweight (110 pounds) contest will pit 22-year-old Ana “La Guerrera” Palacios (4-1-1) of Mexico City, Mexico against Yajaira “Pantera Negra” Cunningham (2-1) of Homestead, Fla.

In a featherweight preliminary card bout, undefeated Ramiro “El Cachanilla” Jimenez (4-0) of Mexicali, B.C., Mexico will put his perfect record on the line again fellow submission specialist Michael Rodriguez (3-1) of Miami.
