Conor McGregor Arrested In Corsica For Alleged Sexual Assault

Conor McGregor has found himself in trouble with authorities once more. Reports surfaced this morning that the UFC superstar was arrested in Corsica for indecent exposure and was detained, interrogated and released.

The charge was filed on September 10th and this is the statement by the Corsica court official:

“Following a complaint filed on September 10 denouncing acts that could be described as attempted sexual assault and sexual exhibition, Mr. Conor Anthony Mac Gregor was the subject of a hearing by the gendarmerie services.”

A representative of Conor McGregor told TMZ that McGregor denies any misconduct. According to a French official, the incident took place at a bar.

McGregor has been sailing around the Mediterranean Sea on his yacht and showed pictures of him being tested by USADA even though he has “retired.” The Instagram post has had fans wondering if he was plotting another return to the sport.

Conor McGregor and his troubled past

Conor McGregor recently got engaged to his long time girlfriend, and mother of two of his children. The engagement had fans hoping McGregor would be settling down and stay out of trouble.

As known, many fans are well aware of the past troubles of McGregor. In the past, he’s been accused of sexual assault, assault of an old man in a bar, smashing a phone of a fan. McGregor is no stranger to the law in many places.

Perhaps most notably is the UFC 223 incident where McGregor attacked the bus of Khabib Nurmagomedov, throwing a dolly into the window and throwing the card into disarray.

This latest incident is just the latest in McGregor’s actions that have much of the MMA community calling for action to reel in the actions of the former champion.
