Conor McGregor tells Dana White to make fight vs Frankie Edgar, offers to donate his money
Former UFC lightweight and featherweight champion Conor McGregor is itching to get a fight with former lightweight champion Frankie Edgar, and now he’s taken his request to the next level. As both fighters have gone back-and-forth through social media about a fight, McGregor continues to say that he will be fighting Edgar in December, however the UFC only has the 245 PPV scheduled for December, and that card has three title fights on it.
On Wednesday, “The Notorious” took to Twitter to reach out and wish Edgar a happy birthday and then followed up that he would see “The Answer” in December.
Happy birthday Frankie, see you in December.

Following his birthday wish, Edgar replied to McGregor telling him that he already accepted the offer to fight him, saying it’s up to McGregor and Dana White to make the fight happen. After the response, Conor McGregor would call on White to make the fight, the former champion would say that he will donate his fight purse to charity for first responders.
There you go White, make the bout. Give my purse to charity.
First responders.

Although Frankie Edgar had plans to drop down to the bantamweight division after failing to grab the featherweight title at UFC 240, a fight with McGregor seems like the one fight he will return to 155 pounds for. Earlier this month while attending a media event held by his management team, Edgar said the ball was in the court of Dana White and Conor McGregor to make the fight, but he was unsure if the UFC wanted the fight to happen.
Conor McGregor has not competed in the UFC since losing to the reigning undefeated champion Khabib Nurmagomedov in their intense rivalry fight last October at UFC 229. Nurmagomedov would defeat McGregor by fourth-round submission, giving the former champion two losses in his last three UFC fights.
While legal issues have kept him away from returning over the past year, McGregor seems ready to return to action with Frankie Edgar as his top target for his next opponent.
