Conor McGregor ‘tweets’ Manny Pacquiao is next
Once again ‘The Notorious’ Conor McGregor has set the combat sports world ablaze via social media.
Anyway all water under the bridge who gives a fook.
I’m boxing Manny Pacquiao next in the Middle East.— Conor McGregor (@TheNotoriousMMA) September 25, 2020
“ I’m boxing Manny Pacquiao next in the Middle East” McGregor tweeted.
McGregor, who hasn’t competed in combat sports since his 40 second TKO victory over Donald Cerrone in January of this year, currently sits at 0-1 as a professional boxer, having not competed in the sport of boxing since his extremely lucrative boxing match with Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather back in August of 2017.
Pacquiao, who last fought in July 2019 against Keith Thurman currently sits with 62 professional wins with 39 of them coming by knockout.
The obvious experience advantage goes to Pac-Man in this instance, like it did with Mayweather, and will probably be the case anytime McGregor steps foot into the boxing ring, as McGregor seems to have the fame and popularity needed to pull mega fights with minimal experience.
If the McGregor – Pacquiao fight does indeed come to fruition, McGregor would have stepped foot in the ring with arguably the two biggest stars in boxing history in his first two professional bouts, an accomplishment McGregor recognizes as no small feat.
It will be a true honour to have faced two of the greatest boxers of the modern era, afraid of a fight.

According to Auddie Attar, who manages both Conor McGregor and Manny Pacquiao, serious discussions are ongoing and the UFC is on board. The fight could happen in December of this year or early 2021.
