Conor McGregor Say He is Back on UFC 200, No Comment From UFC
Is he on or off the biggest fight card in UFC history? That is the million dollar question everyone wants to know the answer to when talking about UFC featherweight champion, Conor McGregor.
Last week, McGregor’s removal from the card basically broke the internet, as the organization’s mega-star initially announced his retirement from mixed martial arts. Hours later, UFC President Dana White removed McGregor from the headlining rematch against Nate Diaz.
Questions circled as to what was really going on. Was it about money or was it really because McGregor refused to attend a press conference, as White had stated?
There still are no certainties as to what exactly transpired that cause both the UFC and McGregor to be at odds, however it seems there may be a light at the end of the tunnel.
After about a week of back and forth between the two, and McGregor lashing out with some tweets that may have hurt his relationship with the UFC, it seems McGregor may be back on the UFC 200 card.
McGregor sent out a tweet stating “Happy to announce that I am BACK on UFC 200!
Shout out to @danawhite and @lorenzofertitta on getting this one done for the fans. #Respect”

The UFC has not officially announced that McGregor is back on the card, and this is normally the type of news that they would want to break themselves, rather than allowing a fighter to send the news via social media.
So, is McGregor back, and if so, against who? Is the Diaz rematch back on? Diaz has stated that he does not want to fight on the card unless it is the McGregor rematch.
“I just came to fight Conor McGregor,” Diaz said at the UFC 200 press conference on Friday. “I don’t really have too much interest in anybody else. I don’t have any interest in fighting at all. But if that’s what we’re going to do, we’re going to do it.”
We will keep you posted as more information is available.
