Cortney Casey discusses her upcoming fight against Antonina Shevchenko at UFC Vegas 58
Cortney Casey has been preparing for Antonina Shevchenko for some time now.
The two were originally scheduled to fight on April 30, but about two weeks before the fight, Shevchenko withdrew from the fight due to what was reported as an injury.
Rather than stay on the card and accept a short notice fight, Casey chose to keep the matchup with Shevchenko since she was told the fight would only be pushed back a few weeks.
Turns out those few weeks added up to 11 weeks as the fight was pushed all the way to July as the two will finally square off at UFC Vegas 58 on July 9.
Prior to the fight, Casey once again spoke with MyMMANews to discuss the matchup and her lengthy training camp for the fight.
Aside from talking about her fight, she also discussed how great it was to see her boyfriend Drakkar Klose finally return to the octagon and get a huge second round knockout win over Brandon Jenkins.
You can hear everything Casey had to say but watching her full interview in the video above.
