Cortney Casey talks long layoff and fighting during the pandemic
The UFC events keep on rolling and Saturday’s event will mark the promotion’s third card in the span of a week. Cortney Casey is set to take Mara Romero Borella on said card.
This will mark the return of a long layoff for Casey. “Cast Iron” hasn’t fought since February 2019.
For Casey, the decision to fight was easy. She needed to make a return, not just for financial reasons but for the love of fighting.
