UFC stars Miesha Tate and Donald Cowboy Cerrone were on hand for the grand opening of the new Ollie’s Bargain Outlet in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, October 28. Several hundred fans lined up to receive autographs and photos with two of the sport’s most outgoing personalities.
Cerrone (28-6) will challenge Rafael Dos Anjos for the UFC lightweight title at UFC on FOX 17, December 19, and said that he predicts he will score a head kick knockout. “Knock the block off his ass,” Cerrone said.
When asked about training with top lightweights such as Paul Felder who could potentially be an opponent for Cowboy in the near future Cerrone said, “Easy, yeah I’m friends with Paul but if it ever came time I’d whoop his ass the same. No problem with it at all.”
Tate talked about her role in the upcoming film “Fight Valley” set for a winter release and said that she is still uncertain to her future in the UFC.
“I wish I had a better answer for you guys but I really don’t know so, I’m kind of in a holding pattern I guess, a waiting period, and I’m just in limbo,” Tate said.
The new Ollie’s is located at 2090 Lincoln Highway, Lancaster, PA.
