The stunt comes as part of a new television series starring Angel called “Criss Angel Trick’d Up” which premieres Wednesday, October 12 at 9PM ET/PT on A&E.

Angel has been on primetime television for more hours than any other magician in history, between his television series and various specials on cable and network television. In 2005, Criss Angel became the creator, director, and executive producer of the A&E Network show Criss Angel Mindfreak.

In 2006, Angel partnered with Cirque du Soleil to produce the stage show Criss Angel Believe (stylized as “Criss Angel BeLIEve”), premiering the show at the Luxor Las Vegas on September 26, 2008. It became the bestselling live magic show in the world.
