Dalton Rosta discusses his upcoming fight against Aaron Jeffery

Dalton Rosta has been asking for a bigger fight and at Bellator 298 he’s fighting another ranked opponent, but maybe not the exact name he was looking for.

Rosta has called big names in the past like Yoel Romero or John Salter, but instead he has been booked to fight Aaron Jeffery on Aug. 11.

While the name might not be exactly what Rosta was asking for, he still knows he has to bring his best game on fight night as Jeffery is a tough opponent.

Jeffery attempted to make the UFC on Dana White’s Contender Series, but he ended up losing to two high level opponents.

Despite the tough breaks, Jeffery would eventually work his way into Bellator and he got off to a fast start and pulled off a huge upset by beating Rosta’s teammate and former title challenger Austin Vanderford.

Following that, Jeffery would suffer his first Bellator loss to Salter.

Rosta has been following Jeffery and he believes he has all the tool to beat him and that’s what he’s expecting to do at Bellator 298.

If Rosta gets the win as he’s expecting to, he definitely wants a big fight next and you can’t blame him as he’s undefeated and is one of the top ranked fighters in Bellator’s middleweight division.

Prior to the fight, Rosta has been getting great rounds in at American Top and he’s in camp the same time as his teammate Johnny Eblen, who is the Bellator middleweight champion and will be making another title defense in September against Fabian Edwards, who is the brother of UFC middleweight champion Leon Edwards.

Rosta spoke with MyMMANews ahead of his upcoming fight to discuss his matchup with Jeffery, wanting a big fight after this, his girlfriend’s success with the WWE on NXT and why he feels like LeBron James is the greatest basketball player ever.
