Former U.S. President Donald Trump shot today in Pennsylvania
Former President Donald Trump was injured in a shooting Saturday evening during his rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. A gunman and at least one audience member are dead, the Secret Service said, and two other attendees are critically injured.
One of those in the audience was Bellator MMA fighter Dalton Rosta (9-1).
“Was just at the Trump Rally in Butler, PA, and there was an attempted assassination on Trump,” Rosta wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

Rosta has not yet commented further on where exactly he was in relation to the shooter or the former President. The 28-year-old mixed martial artist just defeated Norbert Novenyi Jr. by way of majority decision at Bellator Champions Series on June 22.
Blood could be seen on Trump’s face as he was carried away by Secret Service during today’s close call.
The Secret Service said the shooter fired multiple shots from an “elevated position” outside of the Trump rally before he was killed by agents.
The shooting is being investigated as an attempted assassination, according to law enforcement officials.
Anyone with information that may assist with the investigation is asked to call the FBI tip line at 1-800-CALL-FBI.
