Dana White: “Stop asking me about Jake Paul, guys. I don’t care what Jake Paul does”
With rumors circulating that former UFC middleweight champion Anderson “The Spider” Silva will face YouTube sensation turned boxer, Jake Paul, UFC President Dana White weighed in.
At Tuesday night’s Contender Series post-fight press conference, White was asked about the potential matchup.
I don’t care what they do, you know what I mean?” But if he really fights Anderson Silva, if that’s true, it was about time,” White said.
“He’s got a real fight there, regardless of Anderson’s age. Yeah, it’s a real fight.
White was then asked if he would like to be involved in promoting the fight if it were to come to fruition, and the 53-year-old replied: “Come on, are you serious? No, I’m not tempted to do that.
“Stop asking me about Jake Paul, guys. I don’t care what Jake Paul does. I know you like that shit, and I know it gives you clicks, but come on.
“Come on, this guy has nothing to do with my business. He’s not fighting for me, he’s not even in the same fucking sport as me. I don’t want to talk about him anymore. I do not care.”
