Why Daniel Cormier Almost Cancelled His CONAN Appearance

UFC light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier joins the Conan O’Brien show about a month out from his UFC 226 headlining fight against heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic.

What do Conor McGregor, Nate Diaz, and Ronda Rousey have in common? They all lost their fights after appearing on CONAN.

Cormier hopes to break the curse when he challenges Miocic. Cormier went to social media to write “I said @teamcoco you’re a curse and he said my friend I may have been one but you change it all July 7th. I said to him, I humbly agree lol. What an amazing time. Thanks for having me. DC”

UFC featherweight champion Max Holloway will defend his 145-pound title against challenge Brian Ortega in the night’s co-main event, July 7 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
