Danni McCormack discusses her Bellator 275 matchup against Stephanie Page
Danni McCormack knows exactly what to expect from her hometown Irish fans when she walks down the ramp and into the Bellator cage on Feb. 25 at Bellator 275.
For starters, McCormack made her Bellator debut in Dublin and this fight will mark her fourth Bellator fight in her hometown.
She is also familiar as to how the Irish fans are as she used to party with all the Irish fans and she was in attendance when UFC superstar and sports icon Conor McGregor defeated Chad Mendez for the UFC interim featherweight champion. Following McGregors victory, the Irish fans literally took over Las Vegas and went crazy inside the MGM grand by yelling, singing, dancing, hanging from the ceiling and everything in between.
Given all of the experiences, McCormick isn’t too worried about performing in the hometown and she’s expecting to go out and improve her undefeated record to 6-0.
In the lead up to the fight, McCormick did have a brief set back as she tested positive COVID-19, but luckily she had no major problems and was able to regroup quickly.
Now after a few hard weeks of training camp at SBG Ireland, McCormick is all ready to take on Stephanie Page at Bellator 275.
Prior to the fight, McCormack spoke with MyMMANews about her upcoming matchup with Page, fighting in Ireland, and fellow female Irish star Becky Lynch.
