Danny Tims arrested, charged with attempted murder after stabbing
Former professional mixed martial artist Danny Tims was arrested in Jupiter, Florida over the weekend after police say a man was stabbed at the Jupiter Cove apartment complex on Saturday, July 28.
Tims was charged with attempted homicide, robbery, aggravated battery, and vehicle theft, according to jail records and is currently being held on a $653,000 bond.
The man who was stabbed was taken to St. Mary’s Medical Center in West Palm Beach and listed in critical condition.
Danny Lynn Tims III which the former fighter’s given birth name has not competed since 2015. He compiled a professional MMA record of 10-5-1 in an eight year span, having fought for promotions such as Titan FC, Kansas City FC, Bellator, and several other regional organizations.
