Dead Serious MMA 45 Tonight!! Watch Here!! Ibrahim Simreen vs. Donaven Levi

Poughkeepsie, New York: Dead Serious MMA returns with their forty-fifth installment of combat sports action at the Mid-Hudson Center Saturday, November 5, 2022. Tonight’s Dead Serious 45 card will include seven MMA bouts, three kickboxing fights, and six grappling matches to round out the evening with 16 total bouts. The doors are expected to open at 6 PM and the first fight of the night kicks off at 7 PM. This event will be sanctioned by a third-party sanctioning body, Global Association of Mixed Martial Arts (GAMMA).

The Main Event will feature Ibrahim Simreen and Donaven Levi battling for the 155-pound Dead Serious MMA Vacant lightweight championship. The co-main event is between Matt Masch and Eric Ramirez in a professional grappling match. All 16 bouts will be streamed on DeadSeriousMMA.com.

The Canadian, Ibrahim Simreen makes his way across the border to fight Donaven Levi in a three, three-minute rounds scheduled contest. Simreen enters this amateur title bout 5-2, while foe Levi is currently 4-6 entering this Dead Serious MMA main event. The Animals MMA fighter is riding a three-fight win streak. Simreen won his last two fights via unanimous decision and three bouts ago he finished Mark Antonelli at Ohio Combat League 10 via TKO in round three.

Levi, Fighting out of Syracuse, New York, is looking to climb back towards a .500 record as he is coming off a tough submission loss in the second round against Mike Bernard. Levi is three years elder than Simreen at the age of 29. A win for Levi would rocket him toward the top of the Northeast Tapology rankings.

In the co-main event, Matt Masch is making his Dead Serious MMA debut in a grappling matchup. He is expected to battle Eric Ramirez in this 145-pound pro grappling matchup. Masch is a young prospect on the rise. At only 17 years old, Masch is already 1-0 in super fights as a grappling, grabbing his first victory via submission at Men of War 13. The young grappler rolls out of Blackhole Jiu Jitsu in Wappingers Falls, New York.

In a Pro Grappling feature bout, Rosie DeMatteo takes on Gabriella Mignone in a 135-pound bantamweight in a one-5-minute round. DeMatteo, a striking 101 athlete is making her debut as a professional athlete. DeMatteo is 2-1 as an amateur mixed martial artist. Wins over Amanda Brundige and Sarah Thomas jumped DeMatteo to 2-0 before running into Lateesha Mohl and falling via TKO in round two, at 1:27. DeMatteo climbs back into the amateur MMA circuit after this grappling match with a confirmed upcoming bout on November 18, 2022.

Gabriella Mignone hails out of Renzo Gracie Warwick in Warwick, New York. This will be Mignone’s sixth pro grappling super bout. Mignone’s first two bouts were draws, and then she suffered a loss to Trista Kline, who is also fighting on the Dead Serious MMA 45 fight card. Mignone claimed a victory over Erica Valentin via Armbar in round 1 at 1:07 at Top Level Pro Grappling 4. Mignone’s last super fight was at Men of War 13, where she is coming off of a decision loss against Brooke Laverty. Expect Mignone to be ready to take on the grappling newcomer, but don’t sleep on DeMatteo.

Billy McMann (1-0) takes on Nikko Walsh (0-0) at an amateur MMA lightweight matchup. McMann is making his second amateur MMA appearance, but don’t take McMann lightly. McMann has two Pro Grappling super fights under his belt with wins at Men of War 12 and 13. Both wins came via a decision against Christian Jones and Matthew Miranda, both taking place in the year 2022. McMann’s opponent, Nikko Walsh is making his amateur debut and plans to ruin McMann’s parade. Can Walsh keep this bout’s geography standing or will McMann’s grappling overcome Walsh’s takedown defense?
