DeAnna Bennett is set to lock horns with Victoria Leonardo at Friday’s Invicta FC 40. The Utah native returns after an almost 9 month layoff.
Bennett looks to snap a two-fight losing streak against Leonardo after losing two of three fights in 2019. Leonardo is on a two-fight losing streak herself although only one of the fights are on her official record.
Bennett has been training in New Jersey is preparation to the fight. When in New Jersey she travels a lot as she goes to different gyms during her camp.
The fight will help determine where is each women is at in their respective career and could jump start a potential title run. Bennett understands the implications and hopes to jump on the opportunity.
