Deauntra Smith looking for 3rd round stoppage at Gut Check Championship Series
Deauntra Smith is Delaware native kickboxer who is sure to make a splash in the combat world sooner than later. Being so early in his amateur career, this standout prospect has already been invited to the WKA world tournament in Thailand, and has recorded several stoppages under his belt.
Smith enters the ring yet again, March 23 for Gut Check Championship Series at the Greater Boys and Girls Club of Greater Bear, Delaware against a tough opponent, Brian D’Amato with 40 amateur bouts under his belt. Smith, lacking in experience, plans to make up for it with technique stating he thinks his dynamic counter attacks will play a huge factor in the contest and he believes he’ll get the job done in round 3.
If being a full time fighter with a baby to provide for, Smith knows what he fights for and ultimately hopes to share his art on the Glory stage. As we all know, every fighters story starts somewhere, and this Delaware fighter is getting his momentum train on its way quick to superstardom.
