Derek Brunson recaps win over Edmen Shahbazyan, wants Jack Hermansson next
Derek Brunson is coming off of a dominant victory over Edmen Shahbazyan. The fight was an important one for Brunson as it took him to 3-0 in his last three fights and cemented his place in the division.
The fight had a little controversy as many felt Herb Dean should have stopped the fight at the end of the second. While some thought the referee should have stopped it others argued the corner should have stepped in.
Brunson was of the opinion that as long as Shahbazyan was willing to fight then the stoppage didn’t matter. Either way it ended with Brunson getting his hand raised and one step closer to the title.
