Derek Campos full Bellator 246 media day press conference

Derek Campos enters Bellator 246 after going through a tough stretch in his career.

The featherweight contender won one of his last five bouts in the lead up to facing unbeaten prospect Keoni Diggs at inside the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT this Saturday, Sept. 12. A 17-time Bellator veteran, Campos plans to test Diggs, who is only in his second bout with the promotion.

Campos was originally slated to fight Adam Borics at Bellator 243 in August, but withdrew for an undisclosed reason. He was then rebooked to face Roger Huerta on Saturday, but Huerta pulled out due to an injury.

Done with the featherweight division, Campos is looking to put the lightweight division on notice.

During the Bellator 246 media-day press conference, Campos spoke about retiring from the featherweight division, Roger Huerta and making a splash at lightweight. You can see his full press conference in the video above.
