Devastating knockout victory sends Chris Sarro to Bare Knuckle FC
After a professional mixed martial arts debut that spanned just 67-seconds, Chris Sarro has earned himself a spot on the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship roster. WATCH VIDEO ABOVE.
Sarro knocked out Ras Hylton at NEF 40: School of Hard Knocks on September 7 with one of the most devastating punches you will ever see inside the cage. One big overhand right from “Golden Gloves” Sarro sent Hylton crashing to the canvas and the fight was over. In the above video you can see MMA reporter Travis Lizotte, who also happens to be Sarro’s manager, cringe and walk away as Hylton’s body fell backwards against the cage.
The Ellsworth, Maine native Sarro had an amateur boxing record of 7-1 before jumping into MMA.
Bare Knuckle FC promoter David Feldman has told MyMMANews that Sarro will debut on November 16 at BKFC 9 in Biloxi, Mississippi. Feldman said that although Sarro is on the card, an opponent has not yet been identified.
Sarro tells MyMMANews, “It’s been a hell of a ride already. BKFC has been my dream since it became legal in America and I wanted it to be through David because he runs such a solid professional promotion with some of my favorite athletes on the roster. I’m a boxer by trade, it runs in my family, but the bottom line is that I want to be the best at the most electrifying intense combat sport in the world, and to me that’s Bare Knuckle.”
