Nate Diaz and Dustin Poirier voice displeasure with UFC

Moments after announcing the biggest fight of the year and possibly in the history of the promotion between Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 229, a former rival of McGregor’s went off on the company. Nate Diaz, who has been announced to fight Dustin Poirier at UFC 230 at Madison Square Garden, took to Twitter moments after the UFC played a video package announcing the fight between McGregor and Khabib.

Following the press conference, Diaz was caught outside on cameras visibly upset and more than likely, the booking of Conor vs Khabib is the reason why.

Diaz and Poirier were scheduled to fight on the pay-per-view after McGregor and Khabib, so there’s a possibility they would like to fight on the same card as the title fight.

Stockdon’s ‘Bad Boy’ Diaz wasn’t the only one bothered by the lightweight title announcement as his opponent, Dustin Poirier also voiced his displeasure with fighting on the UFC 230 card.

The following video was posted fromm inside the theater and got the reaction from the crowd as well as other fighters including Diaz, who stormed out of the press conference once the video began to play.  Watch the video below.
