DWCS Lorenzo Hood Says Curtis Blaydes Inspired Career Turnaround

Interview with Lorenzo Hood above

Lorenzo Hood (12-4) discusses his heavyweight fight against Lukasz Brzeski (8-1-1) at DWCS on Aug. 31.  Lorenzo also spoke about what type of training camp he’s had, losing to Curtis Blaydes in his seventh professional fight, and how Blaydes actually inspired his return back to MMA after a brief retirement.

“I’m super proud of what Curtis (Blaydes) has accomplished. He’s actually one of the reasons that got me off the couch and get back into it, I was seeing all of his success. I was watching the PPV, I think it was 2019. I was like ‘oh come on’ I need to get back into this and go full speed ahead. Curtis motivated me … I think what he’s doing in his career and where we’re both at. I think we’ll meet again at some point.”
