East vs. West: Top flyweight prospects Joseph Morales, Sean Santella clash at CFFC 64

After a slight bit of uncertainty we now know who Cage Fury Fighting Championship’s interim flyweight champion Sean ‘Shorty Rock’ Santella (16-5-1) will be fighting later this month in the organization’s first trip to San Diego.

Alliance MMA President Robert Haydak described the fight to me as: “Two top prospects. East versus West.”

Santella will be taking on undefeated Team Alpha Male flyweight Joseph Morales (7-0).

“Joseph is a highly touted prospect training under the watchful eye of Urijah Faber. Urijah and I spoke for 5 minutes and got a deal done,” Haydak said.

Santella was added to the CFFC 64 card just a few days ago but his opponent had not yet been named until today.  UFC President Dana White will be at the show filming ‘Dana White: Lookin’ For a Fight.’

CFFC 64 will be managed by San Diego-based, Alliance Training Center owner Eric Del Fierro.
