Elmar Umarov Looks To Rebound From First Career Loss At LFA 122

Interview with Elmar Umarov above

Elmar Umarov (3-1) discusses his welterweight fight against Turner Williams (0-1) at LFA 122 this Friday. Elmar also spoke about his training camp leading up to the fight, how a win could land him on DWCS this year and what he learned the most from his first career loss to Benjamin Bennett.

“That was my first loss since highschool wrestling. That was the hardest camp I did, I trained my ass off for that fight because I knew who I was fighting. I think Bennett could go to the UFC now and be fine. I got my ass kicked, he just put the pressure on me. I learned to be more aggressive and intesnse, I was too lose and relaxed. Now, I have to be intense. I knew that, but I just need to apply it.”
