EMC 8 – Nuno Costa vs Stipe Brcic – WATCH HERE

EMC 8 takes place this Saturday night in Düsseldorf, Germany and the card is now officially complete. Twelve professional MMA bouts are scheduled that feature veterans of Bellator, KSW, BAMMA and ACB. Fighters representing fourteen different nations are set to face off on the best German fight card of the year and the most anticipated European event across the weekend.

The event will be broadcast live via FITE.  You can order and watch below for $8.99.  Event starts at 1pm ET.

In the main event, current EMC bantamweight champion, Stipe Brčić (9-2), intends to make history by becoming the promotion’s first ever double champion when he drops to 125lbs to take on lethal Brazilian finisher, Nuno Costa (14-2), for the inaugural EMC flyweight title.

Powerful, concussive strikes will be traded in the evening’s co-headliner when top German heavyweight, Hatef Moeil (10-4), meets Czech knockout artist, Alexandr Cverna (8-2), in a clash of giants that could well produce a highlight-reel finish.

Konrad Dyrschka (12-2, 1NC) was originally scheduled to compete for the inaugural EMC lightweight belt but his opponent fell off the card due to COVID-19. However, current EMC featherweight champion, Fabiano Silva (31-13-1), is stepping in on one week’s notice to face the German at a catchweight of 73kg/160lbs.

Elsewhere on the card, KSW and social media star, Erko Jun (3-2), makes his light heavyweight debut against Italian, Gianluca Locicero (4-2), and Bellator veteran, Walter Gahadza (18-6), takes on rising prospect, Artur Szczepaniak (6-1) at welterweight. Five-time boxing world champion, Deniz Ilbay (Pro Debut), kicks off the main card in his highly anticipated MMA debut opposite Adnan Zilic (2-1) in a featherweight bout.

In Germany, the main card begins at 10pm CET and will be broadcast exclusively on BILD+ after the prelims start at 7pm CET on FITE TV. The first two fights of the night will be streamed for free on the EMC YouTube channel around the world.

Outside of Germany, the whole card can be viewed on FITE TV with the prelims starting at 6pm GMT and the main card beginning at 9pm GMT.
