Emily Ducote is set to main event Invicta FC 40 opposite Juliana Lima July 2. The event marks the return of the all-women’s MMA promotion following a long absence due to the COVID-19 situation.
Ducote last fought in November losing a split decision to Kanako Murata. Now she looks to bounce back against a UFC veteran in Brazil’s Lima.
Ducote was still able to train despite the lockdown as she had everything she needed at home. Luckily, her husband is also her coach so she was able to continue training normally at home when Invicta came calling.
