ESPN Africa Boxing 16 Card Revealed
ESPN Africa Boxing makes its return for the month of April with yet another action-packed night of boxing. The promotion kicks off the second quarter with one of its most stacked events, as there is an expected nine bouts set to feature on the card. Whilst the last two events in the ESPN Africa Boxing series have witnessed fighters stepping in to claim vacant championships, this month’s event sees two already-occupied championships being put on the line, with the risk of a change in both championship holders looming.
The explosive main event will sees Andile Mntungwa (6-4-1) challenge the yet-to-be-defeated Cowin Ray (7-0-0) for the SA Super Middleweight Championship. The co-main event will bear witness to Bangile Nyangani (11-1-1) defending his SA Mini Flyweight Championship against Loyiso Ngantweni (10-15-5). Preceding those two closing bouts will be seven other fights showcasing some of the best boxing talent that the African continent has to offer across several divisions.
