ESPN Africa rang in the second quarter of the year with an action-packed nine-bout card. The 16th installment of the Africa Boxing series saw an intense display of the best boxing talent from various parts of the African continent.

Although the ESPN Africa Boxing 16 card did see some changes ahead of fight night, the event still produced captivating action and saw a handful of dominant finishes. Two championships were on the line, with both champions successfully retaining their gold. The event got a lot of positive reaction from the crowd in attendance, as well as those watching from home. In addition to showcasing the best that the African continent has to offer, the fight night also put a spotlight on lesser-known talent.
