KSW 61: To Fight or Not To Fight

Fans return at KSW 61: To Fight or Not To Fight

The KSW Federation has announced KSW 61: To Fight or Not To Fight, starring five time world’s strongest man Mariusz Pudzianowski (14-7), KSW 1 tournament winner Lukasz Jurkowski (17-11), and an exciting supporting cast sure to bring you an evening filled of thrills and spills.

KSW 61 on June 5th will also see the return of the fans! Under government guidelines, the Ergo Arena in Gdansk, Poland, will operate at a 50% capacity.

This clash between two Polish MMA legends and icons will serve as a fitting main event to welcome fans back at a KSW showcase for the first time in over 18 months. Both Pudzianowski and Jurkowski are credited with helping the sport of MMA grow in this part of the world and are true fan favourites.

Pudzianowski is the most successful strongman of all-time with five world titles and in 2009 he made his KSW & MMA debut. Since then the 44-year-old has registered a host of impressive wins over a host of UFC & Pride veterans, Olympic medalists, and boxing stars.

While he may not be as well known internationally as Pudzianowski, Lukasz Jurkowski has played an equally important role for the growth of promotion. At KSW 1 in 2004 he beat three men in one night to win the first KSW tournament and thus became the first star of Polish MMA. Over the past 17 years he has registered wins over the likes of Sokoudjou, Igor Pokrajac, Attila Végh, and a host of European veterans.

KSW 61 will be live around the world on www.KSWTV.com and the KSW App available now on iOS & Android!
