Fedor earned $2 million, ranks #37 of top Russian celebrity earners for 2016
According to a new report from Forbes.ru, Russian mixed martial arts heavyweight Fedor Emelianenko (36-5-1) made $2 million between May 2016 and June 2017. ‘The Last Emperor was ranked 37th in the list of top Russian celebrity earners for 2016.
He only fought once during the time period, a controversial majority decision win over Brazilian light-heavyweight Fabio Maldonado at EFN 50.
The Forbes report also revealed that Fedor earned $2.2 million in 2015. His 2017 earnings have not yet released but will include pay for his recent Bellator NYC fight with Matt Mitrione. Emelianenko lost the June 2017 fight via first round knockout at Madison Square Garden.
