Spencer is scheduled to fight for the featherweight title against dual-champ Amanda Nunes in the co-main event at UFC 250.
Florida recently held a regional show MMA show last week, making the “The Sunshine State” a possible landing spot for upcoming UFC events.
Both Spencer (8-1) and Nunes (19-4) train in Florida and Spencer is urging the UFC to move UFC 250 to Florida.
“@Amanda_Leoa we both live in Sun with rays Florida, let’s get #UFC250 Right-facing fistto our back yard🏝. Please don’t leave! @Mickmaynard2 @danawhite @ufc”
Felicia Spencer is the No.1 contender in the featherweight division. Her lone loss came to Cris Cyborg by unanimous decision.
Nunes knocked out Cyborg in 51 seconds to win the featherweight championship in December 2018. This will be her first featherweight title defense. Since becoming a champ-champ, Nunes has two successful bantamweight championship defenses.
