Felicia Spencer vs. Danyelle Wolf set for May 22 UFC event

Felicia Spencer (8-2) and recent Contender Series signee Danyelle Wolf (1-0) are set to meet in a featherweight bout at a UFC event on May 22. The bout was first reported by BJPenn.com.

Former title challenger Spencer, most recently fought when she challenged Amanda Nunes for the featherweight championship in the main event of UFC 250 in June. The 30-year-old Canadian suffered a defeat to the now champ via a lopsided decision to drop her UFC record to 2-2. Spencer is a former Invicta FC featherweight champion, having gone 6-0 for that promotion and holds notable victories inside the UFC over Megan Anderson and Zarah Fairn dos Santos.

Wolf, 37, will make her UFC debut after earning a contract on Dana White’s Contender Series in September – that night she beat Taneisha Tennant.  That also marked her PRO MMA debut as she switched combat sports. Wolf amassed a amateur boxing record of 30-14. The 37 year old is a championship level boxer, and a three-time USA Boxing National Championships champ at welterweight. An Olympic hopeful in 2016, her entire career in the sport was in the amateur ranks, to allow for that Olympic occasion.

With the addition, the UFC Fight Night on May 22 lineup includes:

David Dvorak vs. Raulian Paiva

Felicia Spencer vs. Danyelle Wolf
