Freedom Fighter’s Ethan Geffen: “I’m bringing home my belt”

This Friday, April 29, New York is in for a surprise! Freedom Fighter Promotions 5 returns to the beautiful and historic Roosevelt Ballroom. With just days away from fight night, Promoter and CEO of Freedom, Rami Ibrahim has already dubbed this show “the biggest professional Muay Thai event in the history of New York.”
Multiple fan favorites and defending champions, such as “Speedy” Petey Anagnostidis, Dillian Joucoo, as well as Taj Rueda will return to action on the evening. Added to an already impeccable card, a professional main card that is full of all-stars such as Richard Abraham, Izjadin Bekteshi will be featured on the bill. The evening being capped off with Ethan “Kid Wolverine” Geffen defending his Freedom Fighter Promotions Super Lightweight World Championship against Brandon Maisonet in the main event of the evening.
All the showings are in place to produce an epic and beautiful display of Muay Thai. With an incredibly diverse and stacked card.
Defending Super lightweight champion, Ethan Geffen returns to the very venue he won his title in to face a former foe in Brandon Maisonet. On fight night, Ethan eagerly awaits his hometown crowd showing their support. Just a few months ago, when Geffen won the title, “they had the place freaking rocking last time,” Geffen says. Anticipating the same electricity running through his home team and state.
Maisonet is a familiar face to the defending Freedom champion as they shared the ring in their amateur careers previously. “Close good fight, that’s all I’m going to say about it,” Geffen recalls. “I’m excited to exact my revenge and take home my belt,” he says. “Because I am the champion and it’s going to stay that way,” he solidifies.
“Knockout, decision-it doesn’t matter. It’s going to be a win,” Geffen assures his fans. “I’m bringing home my belt and I’m staying champion.” He closes with a determined demeanor.
