Gabe Green breaks down his first UFC victory at UFC 258

Gabe Green will always remember UFC 258. Green opened up the fight card against Phil Rowe and Green earned the first win in his UFC career by defeating Rowe by unanimous decision.

The win wasn’t only his first career UFC win, but it also marked his first victory since 2018 as Green finally snapped a series of unfortunate events.

For the past few years Green as been plagued with injuries that has left him sidelined. Then in 2020 he finally got to fight again and he did it in the UFC. The only issue with his UFC debut last May was that it came on four days notice and Daniel Rodriguez got the better of Green that night as Green lost the fought by unanimous decision.

Now in 2021, in the lead up to UFC 258, Green still had some tough luck. He had an injury during training camp and on top of that he tested positive for coronavirus. Despite everything going on in the build up to UFC 258, Green decided to power through it all and it all worked out great as he won what may have been his biggest fight of his career.
